Hunsicker Family Dental

Dr. Hunsicker grew up in Akron, Ohio where he graduated from Walsh Jesuit High School in 2004. We went on to earn his BS at Purdue University in 2008 and his DDS at The Ohio State University in 2012. He did a general practice residency at Mercy Medical Center in Canton Ohio before going into private practice in Tallmadge in 2013. Dr. Hunsicker loves the practice of dentistry. He has pursued training in cosmetic and sleep dentistry and in 2021 completed a surgical externship at the Midwest Implant Institute in Columbus Ohio. He is an instructor at the Aesthetic Excellence course at The Center at Dental Ceramics Lab and loves helping patients improve their smiles.

Dr. Hunsicker and his wife Courtney have four beautiful children, Lila (2014), Lucy (2016), Luke (2019) and Leena (2022). He is extremely grateful to be practicing near the Akron area where he grew up and loves being with his family and friends. To stay healthy Dr. Hunsicker enjoys trail running and yoga. Along with his wife Courtney, he started an app company, Virtual Training Manual (VTM) in 2020 to help other dentists provide excellent training and care to their staff and patients.

Dentistry is not just something he enjoys, but it is in his blood.
